Do I need travel insurance?
Of course, the travelers are suggested to have insurance.

Do I need to bring any essential documents?
Travelers must have valid passport and few P.P size photos.

What is the Visa fee and how do I get?
Travelers can get visa on their upon arrival at Nepal airport, cost USD 40

The political situation is liquidity and multi party system is practice.

Yes you can. There are always travelers around.

All around the clock, But Autumn and spring is highly suggested.

How fit do I need to be?
Normal fitness and good physical condition is fine for trekking in Nepal.

Do I need any trekking experience to do trek in Nepal?
Not really.

Is it possible to buy/ rent equipments in Kathmandu?
Any shorts of gear are available in Kathamndu for trekking and mountaineering.

Should I bring medicine my self or GAT provided?
We also provide medical kits but if your brings your own is highly appreciated.

Do I need any vaccination before to leave?
Not.

Do you have airport pick up service?
Yes we do.

Is there ATM facilities on the trek?
There are no ATM in the mountain apart from major cities.

Can I change money on the trek?
No suggested.

Can I have hot shower during the trekking?
Yes.

What type of food can I have during the trekking?
Nepalese traditional, continental and Tibetan type of food are served.

What type of accommodation do I have on the trek?
Tourist category lodge are available in the mountain.

Is there electricity during the trek?
Most of the place do not have electricity.

Do I have to pay to charge batteries?
Yes.

Do I need to have trekking polls?
Suggested to have.

How about the drinking water?
The safe drinking water stations are available in some trekking area but boiled and treated water will be provided by GAT.

What happened if I get really sick?
GAT staffs will look after until you recover and follow the group.

Do I have to use guide and porters? Yes, All are suggested to have Guide or porter for you safety security.

Is your company authorized by Nepal Government?
GAT is certify by NTB board, NMA and TAAN.

Do your trekking crews have insurance?
All GAT staffs are well insured and well equipped.
