Day 01Arrival- KathmanduAfter your arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel.There is no planned schedule for this day so it'll be a free day. You can choose to roam around the locality and get to know Kathmandu a little better.
Day 02Kathmandu Sightseeing After breakfast, we will set out for a whole day of sightseeing. There are many places to see in Kathmandu and most of them are historical and religious places. On this day, we will visit Pashupatinath, a Hindu temple, Swoyambunath also known as monkey temple, and Kathmandu Durbar Square, home to the Malla kings. You can also shop for souvenirs during this day as there are many stores nearby these places.
Day 03Drive to Bandipur Bandipur is a hilltop settlement which falls on the way to Pokhara from Kathmandu. The old town is connected by a 8km road from Dumre (Kathmandu-Pokhara highway). Bandipur is a small place and hence, you can explore the entire town on foot. A library which was established during the Rana regime still remains. Other attractions include the Bindyabashini temple, Thani Mai, Tindhara, Raniban, Tundikhel, a flat hill top that provides an exquisite view of the Himalayan range on a clear day, Siddha Cave and a hike to Ramkot village. There are many options for lodging in Bandipur.
Day 04Drive to Gorkha Gorkha is the home of legendary Gurkha soldiers. Manakamana, a famous temple is also located in this district. You can visit the Gorkha bazaar.
Day 05Gorkha- Pokhara It is a few hours drive from Gorkha to Pokhara. Once you reach Pokhara, you will be transferred to your hotel. After your rest, you can take a stroll around the lakeside and enjoy the beauty of Fewa Lake.
Day 06Pokhara Sightseeing After breakfast, we commence a full day sightseeing of Pokhara, the most popular destination in Nepal after Kathmandu. We will spend the morning walking along the bank of Phewa Lake, while you admire the stunning view of the Fish Tail Peak reflected in the silver surface of the water. Three out of ten highest mountains in the world- Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu are situation within 30 miles of the city so that the northern skyline of the city offers a very close view of the Himalayas. Mt Machhapucchre or the Fishtail Mountain is the closest to the city and on a clear day, you get a gorgeous view of the mountain. You can also see the wonderful Annapurna panorama forms a superb backdrop to Pokhara from the lake. Aside from a trip to Phewa Lake, we will visit the Seti River gorge, Davis fall, and Mahendra Cave. In the night you can enjoy live music at many of the pubs around the lake.
Day 07Drive to Kathmandu The drive back to Kathmandu takes approximately 8 hours. We will stop for lunch on the way.
