Kathamndu valley is the heart of culture, art and architecture and traditions. Once we go out of the Kathamndu to feel and realizes about the life style and living of local and surely a few days trek gives you more relaxed walk up to the Mountain range in the north and green forest around. While we are walking the singing of birds and noise from the silent makes this short trek more pleasure and fun.
Balthali village trekking can begins from Kathamndu- Sankhu after short car drive. We trek about 3 hrs to the top of Nagarkot. Nagarkot is the place to see Sun rise and sun set into the Himalaya.
Dhulikhel-Nagarkot is another interesting place to explore around the foot hill of green forest. Namo Buddha was that place where Buddha feed his fleece to a starving tiger. We will be spending a night near the Monastery into the resort.
After Namo Buddha we trek to Balthali, the classical Newari village. Balthali village is newly opened wilderness trekking in Nepal. Balthali is on the top of the Hill at an altitude of 1700m. The massive range of mountain can be view from the Balthali village. After the excellent view of mountain range in the morning your trekking goes down to Suryabinayak near by Bhaktapur from where we can catch a transport to Kathmandu.

Day 01 : Kathamndu-Sundarijal-Chisapani 2100m. 4hrs.
Day 02 : Chisapani-Nagarkot 6hrs. 2100m
Day 03 : Nagarkot-Banepa-Dhulikhel 6hrs 1800m
Day 04 : Dhulikhel-Balthali 5hrs. 1700m
Day 05 : Balthali-Bhaktapur-Kathamndu.
Day 01Kathamndu-Sundarijal-Chisapani 2100m. 4hrs.Your trip starts after the short drive to Sundarijal by car. Sundarijal means beautiful water and most of the places in kathamndu suplies drinking water from here. The path goes through the Tamang village in the begning and goes through the rhododendron forest. Along the way you can view the wild animal and birds. Overnight at Guest house.
Day 02Chisapani-Nagarkot 6hrs. 2100m Morning view the panoramic views of Himalaya including Manaslu 8156m, Ganesh Himal, Langtang range, Dorje Lakpa Himal and Gauri Shankar Himalayan range. The path is much pleasant and easy facing to the Himalaya and diverse landscape. As we are walking into the National park, you might have chance to encounter with some wild animals. Overnight at Guest house.
Day 03Nagarkot-Banepa-Dhulikhel 6hrs 1800m Nagarkot is famous for Sun rise and sun set. If you are lucky enough you will view Mt. Everest in distance. After Nagarkot we begins the trek through the lush forest and local village to Dhulikhel. Dhulikhel is the place for Monastery,Temple, sun rise and entry point of Nepal Tibet border. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 04 Dhulikhel-Balthali 5hrs. 1700m Dhulikhel is famous not only for the above, it is famous for Namo Buddha. Namo Buddha is a place for meditation and where monks and nuns has been living. After visiting the monastery we trek to Balthali through the forest.
Day 05Balthali-Bhaktapur-Kathamndu. Balthali is famous for local village sight seeing and where you can have a fresh air breath on top of the hills. Mean time you can see all entire range of mountain from here. The singing birds make you stay more pleasant. About 10 Am we departure to Bhaktapur walking into the forest until we arrive Bhaktapur and catch a cab to Kathamndu.
