Nepal was hit by Earth Quake on the 25th April 2015 at 11:56 AM local time.
Due the devastation of Nepal more than 8500 people dead and over 18000 people are injured.
Kathmandu Durbar probably has seen the worst of the earth quake destruction of all the UNESCO World heritage sites. On the 3rf April, the entrance to the square were blocked by military and police as work crews continue to clean up the mass as well as to reach for bodies.
You can see much of Durbar Square from several entrances. Many of the temples did survive the quake and can be seen. You can also get the feeling for the devastation that took place on the 25th April.
