Ganesh Himal Singla Pass Trekking brings you a trail that has not yet to be traversed by many. Although not as popular as Annapurna and Everest trekking, Ganesh Himal High Pass trek is one of the best trekking trails in central Nepal as it passes through Sing La pass (4050m), Pangsang pass (3850m) and Mangni Pass. This non-touristy trekking trail lies in the Manaslu trekking region, home to Ganesh Himal. Ganesh Himal is named after the Hindu elephant-headed God of Good Fortune. This trek gives one the opportunity to experience the authentic, untouched Tamang and Gurung settlements on higher altitude, gorgeous terraced farms and marvelous sceneries of Ganesh Himal and other mountains of Annapurna, Langtang and Manaslu region.
Along Ganesh Himal Singla Pass Trekking trail, the trek offers impressive up close views of Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Bouddha Himal, Hiunchuli and other peaks of central Himalayas from Sing La pass at 4050 meters high. Besides the massive mountains, theres so much to see and explore like the sacred lakes; Ganesh Kunda, Parvati Kunda and Seto and Kale lakes and places of worships; Hindu temples, Buddhist monasteries. One will also be surrounded by colorful rhododendron hillside forests, an excellent habitat for extensive varieties of rare plants and wildlife; 526 species of plants (including 40 species of orchids), and 300 species of birds. There is also abundance amount of crystal, a precious stone found in this region. If one is lucky, he/she should be able to spot endangered animals such as the Himalayan Thar, Gaur, monkeys and even a musk deer. Furthermore, the Ganesh Himal High Pass trek gives you an opportunity to come across many interesting ethnic groups, including people of Tamang and Gurung heritage.
Ganesh Himal High Pass Trek hasnt been explored trekking region. This trekking is travelled by vary less number of trekkers so the tea house accommodation is basic. This trek is recommend for fully camping trek with Global Adventure trekking providing you with all the necessary help. Luggage will be carried by porters and there will be a cook present to prepare you meals and to help with tent setting. We advise you to visit the region during March to May or September to November. The trek is graded rather difficult and walking hours average 5 to 6 hours so preparation before the trek is advised to build up stamina and ready your body for the trek.
Day 01 : Kathamndu to Valche 7hrs. 1810m.
Day 02 : Valche to Gongga- Rupchet 6hrs.3800m.
Day 03 : Rupchet to Singla pass 4200m. to Sertung 1875m 7hrs.
Day 04 : Shertung to Hot spring-Neber Gaon 5hrs. 2020m.
Day 05 : Neber Gaon to Lapa Gaon 5hrs. 1850m.
Day 06 : Lapa Gaon to Ro Gaon 5hrs. 1550m.
Day 07 : Ri Gaon to Phulkhara / Ganga Jamuna 5hrs./6.5hrs.
Day 08 : Ganga Jamuna to Budhathum village 4hrs 810m.
Day 09 : Budhathum to Arughat Bazar 3hrs. 775m.
Day 10 : We are preparing to leave the camp and catch a bus to Kathamndu 7hrs.
Day 01Kathamndu to Valche 7hrs. 1810m.Bus leave early morning from Kathamndu through the scenic view of landscape and traditional village. It is a mesmerizing and interesting driving. Over night at Camp.
Day 02Valche to Gongga- Rupchet 6hrs.3800m. After your breakfast the path goes uphill for short time and have a breath taking views of Valche village. The path is gradually up hill but not a tired. Walking through the sub tropical jungle and continue to Rupchet.
Day 03Rupchet to Singla pass 4200m. to Sertung 1875m 7hrs. The days are long but first your trek goes through the rain forest to crest offers the best mountain including all Lang tang range. Manaslu range,Ganesh Himal range and Annapurna in 270 degree. After the view the long way down hill to Sertung village.
Day 04Shertung to Hot spring-Neber Gaon 5hrs. 2020m. Today is short and easy comparatively as you are taking hot spring for your hot bath which will be in your lunch stop. After lunch walk through the pristine Tamang village to Neber Gaon.
Day 05Neber Gaon to Lapa Gaon 5hrs. 1850m. Walk about 2hrs to Timla pass 2850m.and all entire mountain appears in front of you. Then trails goes slippery down hill to Rachyat village through the forest. Visit the tamang and Gurung village along the path.
Day 06Lapa Gaon to Ro Gaon 5hrs. 1550m. Your trek will begins with down hill to Chyamchet village and Jharlang village. Both are Tamang and Gurung inhabitant village. Passing few village, forest, terrace to Ri Goan.
Day 07Ri Gaon to Phulkhara / Ganga Jamuna 5hrs./6.5hrs. We are walking through the high cast Brahmin village and paddy fields. Your trekking path is in level almost all the time.
Day 08Ganga Jamuna to Budhathum village 4hrs 810m. You are trekking almost down hill all the time through the village and facing mountain view of Ganesh Himal and Manslu. Along the monastery can be visited if the time required. This is a best place for your camping over night.
Day 09Budhathum to Arughat Bazar 3hrs. 775m. Budhathum is the village of Newar,Brahmin, Chhetri and some lower cast people. You are trekking through the village and descend to river and path goes level to Arughat. Arughat is the get way to Manaslu trek and situated in the bank of Budhi Gandaki River.
