The Gokyo Lakes over Renjo-la pass are spectacularly beautiful. The panoramic view over the turquoise lakes with 8,000m-plus peaks in the background is a pretty unforgettable experience!
Gokyo lakes- Renjo- la pass trek explore the mountain and hikes on off the beaten path and less explored Thame valley. Once you begin your trek from Namche to Lunden and higher up, the snowmelt and the Sun begins to shine, The Renjo la pass trekking views directly exposes its natural beauty in an overgenerous display that could be the best you ever have seen.
You will also get the opportunity to climb Gokyo Ri, the mountain overlooking the small village of Gokyo valley. This climb offers some of the most incredible views of Mt Everest and Cho Oyu you will find. The views are arguably even better than Kalapathar, which is the most popular viewpoint along the classical EBC trekking route.
The Gokyo Lakes side trip is also a rewarding extra bonus. Climbing Gokyo Ri and coming from Renjo La Pass are two of the exciting adventure that you have ever done, but you will be so proud of yourselves once you made it. You will have to push yourself, but you will also be rewarded for your efforts.
