Kanchenjunga region is one of the unspoiled trekking trails in eastern Nepal which begins after the long drive of flight to Suketar, opened in 1988 to trekkers. The scenery of Kanchenjunga, seen from Pangpema, the north base camp is remarkable. Kanchenjunga is the third highest mountain among above 8000m mountain. The Rai are the inhabitant in the lower part and Sherpa are in upper part. Musk deer, blue sheep and Red Panda can be seen along the trekking. Panoramic views of Mt. Everest 8848m, Mt. Makalu 8463m and Kanchenjunga 8598m massif will make the trip valuable. A special trekking permit is necessary to trek in this region, which can be obtained by the registered trekking company.
