Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01 : Kathmandu to pokhara by bus. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02 : Pokhara to Phedi by car and trek to pothana 4 hrs.

Day 03 : Trek to Ferest Camp 2500m 5hrs.

Day 04 : Forest Camp to Low camp 3170m 5hrs.

Day 05 : Low camp to High camp 3620m 4hrs.

Day 06 : Exploration day at high camp (optional trek 5000m for breathing taking views)

Day 07 : High camp to Siding Village 7 hrs.

Day 08 : Siding village to Ghatte-Pokhara O/N.

Day 09 : Bus drive to Kathmandu 7 hrs.

Detail Itinerary

Day 01Kathmandu to pokhara by bus. Overnight at Hotel.Tourist Bus leaves early morning from Kathmandu. It is a comfortable Tourist bus and goes through Prithivi highway into scenic valley along the Trisuli River where we make 3 hours white water rafting. This river is very exciting and nice. Overnight in Pokhara at Hotel. B.L.D.

Day 02Pokhara to Phedi by car and trek to pothana 4 hrs.Mardi Himal Trek begins after the short drive to phedi. The path goes through Dhampus village where we stop for Lunch. All the Annapurna range including Fish Tail Mountain can be eyes to eyes. After lunch easy and short walk through the Rhododendron forest to Pothana. Overnight at Pothana.

Day 03Trek to Ferest Camp 2500m 5hrs.We are walking through the Rhododendron forest all the time and several different birds and butterfly makes your trek more colorful. Listening the noise from the silence and singing birds with snow caped mountain including Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Fishtails, Gangapurna, Mardi Himal and Manaslu in distance.

Day 04Forest Camp to Low camp 3170m 5hrs.Forest Camp to Low camp 3170m 5hrs. We are going to gain the elevation, so every participant will slow down to go. We are approaching the Fish tails and Annapurna south in close distance. You are above the tree lines so you may feel less oxygen.

Day 05Low camp to High camp 3620m 4hrs.Low camp to High camp (3,620m) 4hrs. You will be trekking up to 4200m for sun rise view. All massive Mountain ranges will appears in front. Feel that you can touch the mountain through your hand!

Day 06Exploration day at high camp (optional trek 5000m for breathing taking views)After the breakfast trek to view point and catch the best view of the Himalaya. You are eyes to eyes with Fishtails Mountain and its glacier. After the exploration get back to low camp.

Day 07 High camp to Siding Village 7 hrs.There are moderate tea house which enough comfortable stay. Siding village used to be very basic where Yak herald used to accommodation. But now small tea house are built up and trekkers can be accommodate. Still best landscape and Mountain view. We walk through the local village and through the river side. Few monastery and water turbine are there. Overnight at tea house.

Day 08Siding village to Ghatte-Pokhara O/N.We walk through the local village and through the river side. Few monastery and water turbine are there. Trek about 3 hours to Ghatte and take a bus to Pokhara.

Day 09Bus drive to Kathmandu 7 hrs.Tourist bus drive to Kathmandu 6 hrs. Transfer to hotel and evening farewell dinner.

Does your trekking crew have insurance?

Yes, all of our trekking staffs are well insured and well equipped.

-What happens if I get sick in the mountain?

Gat has well experienced staffs and very familiar to local people too. If You are sick, Our staffs will see and handle all kind of needs. Normally if worsen we will descent about 300 to 500 meter and see. If you are still worse then we organizes emergency evacuation by helicopter.

Do I need any vaccination before to leave?

In general you do not need any vaccination but better to consult your Doctors before to come.

-Do I get drinking water?

GAT supply purified drinking water but not bottle water because of the environmental awareness.

-Is the electricity available in the trekking?

Even though Nepal is second richest for the water resources but most of the places do not have electricity. At a same time depend where you are trekking.

- Is there ATM in the mountain?

No, there is no ATM and Bank in the mountain. So you are suggested to have cash for your trekking.

-What is the political condition in Nepal?

Nepal is federal democratic republic country since 2009. Until 2007 Nepal was in unrest political situation and was not safe to travel in Nepal. After the peace agreement between Maoist and Government is it hundred percent secure to go.

-What kind of document should I bring?

Normally a veiled pass port and insurance document is required to bring with you.
