Everest high passes trekking is perhaps the most adventurous and challenging treks in Nepal. See if you can achieve the daring feat of crossing the three high Himalayan passes, Kongma La (5,535m), Cho La (5,380m) and Renjo La (5,388m). The trek covers all major places in Everest classical trekking in the Everest region including Namche Bazaar, Tengboche Monastery, Everest base camp and Gokyo Lake over Chola La pass and Sherpa village of Thame crossing Renjo-la pass.

Everest 3 pass trek starts after the scenic half an hour flight to Lukla. This flight is the most exciting one with the view of Panoramic Mountain and diverse landscapes. The first part of the trek allows you to pass through serene forests of birch and Juniper up the Bhote Koshi stream. You will have enough time to acclimatize in Namche whilst experiencing Sherpa culture, Customs, cuisine, and hospitality. You will be trekking through rough terrain, moraines, and glaciers once on higher altitude. Visiting Nuptse glacier near Kongma La pass, Gokyo Valley near Cho La pass and Ngozumpa Glacier in Renjo La pass will be a captivating and rewarding experience. The three passes provide spectacular views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Makalu (8,481m), Cho Oyu (8,201m), Peak 38, Cholatse, Tobuche and Island Peak. Other attractions of this trek are an exploration of Gokyo Tsho, and Angladumba Tsho (4,500m) lakes and Gokyo Ri (5,300m) peak.

On your return route, you will visit Everest Base Camp-14 days (5,357m) and climb atop Kala Patthar to enjoy an up-close view of Everest, Nuptse, Pumori, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Khumbu Glacier. You also visit 500-year-old Tengboche Monastery to see monks practice Buddhist meditation and attend daily prayers.

As you are trekking in high altitude terrain, you have to be physically fit and sometimes it required the basic knowledge of mountaineering. Day 01: Arrival and transfer to Hotel in Kathmandu

After breakfast, we will start Kathmandu Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square- Pashupati Nath Temple (the oldest and biggest Shiva Temple in South Asia), Bouddha Nath Stupa (the holy place for Tibetan Buddhism).

Morning flight to Lukla (135Km) and start the trek through Sherpa village. The trail goes gradually flat and easy to Phakding.

Trek begins very easily first part then the trail goes downhill to Phunki Tanga on the riverside. From here the Buddhism was introduced into the Khumbu valley. Then ascend about 800m to Tengboche through the pine forest

Tyang boche monastery is another attraction of the tourist so GAT staffs take you there in the morning to participate for Puja and descend through the Rhododendron forest. Hiked to Gokyo Ri. 5300m. Today we are going up to 5130m for the panoramic view of Pumori, Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho-Oyu and its surrounding and get back to lodge. Gokyo lake and Ri are the better than Kala patthar and EBC. The views are the best then you ever have seen.

 After having the early breakfast, We will start the trek to Renjola top. We suggest you be on top before noon time due to the wind. The scenery including Mountain, lakes, diverse landscape and you feel like you are above the Mountain. After taking the Photograph trek all downhill to Lunden.

Important Note for Everest High Pass trekking

Medical and health information:

All travelers need to be good physical health in order to participate in this trip. Before buying this trip please read the details itinerary carefully. You should consult your doctor for up to date for your Medical travel information or any necessary vaccination before departure. We suggest you bring your personal medical kid.

Accommodation while on the Everest high Pass Trekking:

Accommodation at the local lodge known as Guesthouses are simple but comfortable. Toilet and washing facility are shared. In the guesthouse, travelers are provided twin sharing room with twin beds, mattress, and pillow. In high season (March to May) and September to November) in places there are few numbers of guesthouse so sometime travelers may do dormitories. In some places, guest house depends on solar power. Remote regions, the guest house does not have a toilet and running water can mean just a hole in the ground. Hot shower facility is available in some guesthouse for a price but occasionally hot shower means a bucket of hot water which is enough to wash your body. Electricity and Wi-Fi are available in someplace for an additional cost.

Transport:

a) land: Kathmandu International Airport is the only International airport in Nepal. Since April 2019 will partly close due to repairs runway. So we provide the sharing transport to Ramechhap (Manthali) airport for your Lukla flight. However, construction should be completed before July 2019. From August the regular flight to Lukla will be started from Kathmandu. 

b) Air: Kathmandu to Lukla flights are often delayed due to the poor weather condition. All travelers are suggested to have a few backup days in the end to catch your International flight. If the flights keep canceling then you have the option to take a charter Heli flight and that will cost about 500 USD per person. This also depends on the number of people who want to have that. So make sure you have prepared your emergency fund just for incase. All the domestic flight has a strict weight limit. 10Kg of your baggage and 5Kg hand luggage are included in your tickets. Excess baggage will be charged at your own expenses.

Phone and Internet services:

Most of the hotel in Kathmandu offers free Wi-Fi with excellent connection. While trekking Wi-Fi may be available in the teahouse for a small cost. The higher you go the more use of Wi-Fi and the internet will cost and likely the shower the speed. Remember your room may not have the electrical outlet. You have to share in the dining hall for your recharge.

Safety:

Nepal is safe to travel destination in the world. Just to be sure travelers are suggested to have their neck belt money wallet while traveling, for the safe keeping of your money, passport, and some valuable items. During your trip, you will have some free time to pursue your own interests, relax and take it easy or explore at your leisure.
