Mt. Ama Dablam stands at an altitude of 6,812 m. in the Everest region Of Nepal. Mt. Ama Dablam is the most scenic mountain and the first choice for alpinist climbers in the Everest region. A 9-day Ama Dablam base camp visit is surely the highlight of the Everest Base Camp Trek as well. Fly to Lukla and follow the Dudh Koshi River and wall painting, mane wall, and prayer flag. While you are trekking in Everest base camp or Annapurna circuit or elsewhere, you will see engraving Tibetan mantras on the big boulders, so make sure you trek clockwise. Follow the local customs, experience the local Sherpa culture, and enjoy the diverse landscape with its flora and fauna of the Sagarmatha National Park. Namche Bazar is the ideal place to have an acclimatizing day to avoid altitude sickness. While in Namche, Visit the origin of the Mountain Climbers' village Thame, which is the oldest settlement in the area.

Trekking in Nepal is not an easy task, you should be physically and mentally fit to go to higher altitude. While trekking in the Mountains, you will have some advantages that you might anticipate. This trek lies in Sagarmatha National Park and we should obtain the necessary permits. As per the rules of the Nepal Government, You should be accompanied by a Guide or a porter for any trek that you undertake. Because of the safety and security reasons. In the past, most of the unguided trekkers died and missing due to the missing leading path and high-altitude sickness. The necessary permits will be issued by the registered Trekking company. The cost of entry fee per trekkers is 3000/ Rupees for other nationals and 1500 rupees for Indian nationals as well as Local Rural Municipality entry fees cost 2000 for everyone.

Ama Dablam Base Camp is a moderate-level trek that involves five to seven hours per day. Of course, there are many ups and downs too. Day 01: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2,620 m./8,595 ft.)/8 km./ 3 hrs.

Morning flight to Lukla (35 Minutes) and start the trek through Sherpa village. The trail goes gradually flat and easy to Phakding. Note: The Lukla flight may depart from Ramechap during the busy season.

Please remember: In high season all the STOL flights may conduct from Ramechap-Lukla-Ramechap to avoid air traffic and delays. Kathmandu to Ramechap is 130km/5 hrs. The Flight to Lukla from Ramechap is just 15 minutes. So, your departure from the Hotel will be about 2/3 am in the morning.

You are approaching the Himalayas. Viewing all-mountain and pine forest and following the yak trail takes you to Namche Bazar. On the way, you will have your first encounter with Mount Everest, Amadablam, Thamserku, and many more.

Trek begins gradually first part then the trail goes downhill to Phunki Tanga on the riverside. Then ascend about 800m to Tengboche through the pine forest enjoying the scenic views.

Tengboche is the best place to view Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku in the back. Tengboche monastery is another attraction for the tourist so you may join for pooja in the morning and descend through the Rhododendron Forest to Debuche and walk to Pangboche. After Pangboche the path is rugged and fragile and reaches the base camp

Explore the Base Camp and trek back to Pangboche (3,930 m). Trek through the upper part of Pangboche to Phortse village 3,810 m. and descend to the riverside and up to Mangla Danda. The last part of the trek is difficult compared to other days. This is the only part of the trek that you will visit anyone along the way. You will be fully into the wilderness. Just enjoy!

Descend to Manjo via Namche Bazar. The total walking duration is 6 hours.
