Mt. Everest (8848m) the highest mountain in the world straddles along the border between Nepal and China (Tibetan Autonomous Region). Which means you can approach Everest base camp from either Nepal side or Tibet side.

Everest Base Camp on China side is called North Everest base camp which is located at an altitude of 5150m. Tibet Everest Base Camp tour offers you an epic journey into north Everest Base camp which offers breathtaking views of the north face of Mt. Everest, Rongbuk glacier and Rongbuk valley.

You will start the journey with an amazing trans Himalayan flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa. On air, you will be able to enjoy the surreal views of tallest Himalayan peaks including Mt. Everest, Cho Oyu, and Shishapangma. Once in Lhasa, the administrative capital of Tibet province of China, you can visit Potala Palace, Norbulingka, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, Sera and Drepung monasteries among others.

It also provides an opportunity to explore the culture and history of Tibet as we stop over in towns such as Gyangtse Newly settlement town, Shigatse-the biggest Monastery, and Tingri for Everest Base camp.

Early morning scenic drive to Kerung Border Nepal Tibet Border through the beautiful Nepalese countryside after the necessary border formalities at Nepali immigration then cross-the-bridge process for all necessary customs formalities in Chinese immigration continue to drive to Kerung

After Breakfast drive uphill to the height plateau of the world with the typical view of the Tibetan landscape offering the sheer feeling of standing on the roof of the world from where weather permitting, the breathtaking panorama of beautiful Himalayan ranges including Mt. Cho Oyu (8,201m) and Mt.Xishapangma (8,012m) on the way see to Pikucho lake.

Unforeseen Circumstances

If Global Adventure Trekking Company cancels your trip to Tibet due to unforeseen circumstances like war, natural disasters, conflict, unfavorable climate, etc. we would be happy to refer you alternative trip of a similar standard. Even if this doesn't fit your personal interest, all monies paid by you to our company will be refunded. But remember, any other expenses incurred by you as a result of this booking are entirely your responsibility.

Papers & Documents

All necessary documents should be presented in sequence for example to issue visas, necessary permits, etc. We're not accountable in case of any trip formality not completed in time before the trip departs on the absence of essential papers and documents. You should have a 6-month valid passport at the time of traveling to Tibet.
