Mukti Kshetra is a sacred area for both Hindu and Buddhist religions. Muktinath is located in the Kali Gandaki Valley in the north of Annapurna I (8091m) and Dhaulagiri I (8165m) towards the Tibetan plateau. It is known as Mukti Kshetra and is one of the Char Dhams in Nepal. Mukti Kshetra means liberation arena.

Muktinath Yatra starts from Kathmandu and ends in Kathmandu. The way to Muktinath is well-maintained and goes through Prithiv Highway to Pokhara, Pokhara Baglung Highway to Tatopani, Ghasa, Marpha, Jomsom, and Kagbeni to Muktinath. This trip follows Kaligandaki Valley where you may have an opportunity to find Saligrama. This trip is a part of the Annapurna Circuit and is on the way to the Upper Mustang towards Tibet. Upper Mustang is the last forbidden kingdom and is known as the city of Wall. The process for taking a tour to Upper Mustang is different than other normal trekking areas. Upper Mustang is a restricted area and we can issue the special permit only from the Department of Immigration. The special permit costs USD 500/ per person for the first 10 days. TIMS-Card costs USD 20/ per person and Annapurna Conservation Entry Permit costs USD 30/ per person.

Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival and Transfer to Hotel

Upon your arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, our airport representative will greet you and transfer to the Hotel.

• Fly to Jomsom, 25 minutes.

• Then hike for 15 mins (plain road) up to the bus station.

• Drive to Ranipauwa by sharing a Jeep/Bus, 22 km, and takes 2 hours.

• Hotel Check-In and take some rest for acclimatization.
