Muktinath Kshetra is a sacred area for both Hindu and Buddhist religions. Muktinath is located in the Kali Gandaki Valley in the north of Annapurna I (8091m) and Dhaulagiri I (8165m) towards the Tibetan plateau. It is known as Mukti Kshetra and is one of the Char Dhams in Nepal. Mukti Kshetra means liberation arena.

This is a restricted area and we can issue the special permit only from the Department of Immigration. The special permit costs USD 500/ per person for the first 10 days. TIMS-Card costs USD 20/ per person and Annapurna Conservation Entry Permit costs USD 30/ per person.
