Kathmandu cultural tour is a short and sweet two days tour package that combines the cultural wonders and cultural heritage in and around Kathmandu Valley. Kathmandu culture tour package includes UNESCO world heritage sites "Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Patan Durbar Squares" along with the early 7th-century ancient cultural village Bungamati and medieval Newari cultural town Khokana.

On the first, day: you visit two world heritage sites, namely Kathmandu and Bhaktapur Durbar Squares. Kathmandu Durbar square also known as Hanuman Dhoka Durbar used to be the residence of the Nepali royal family and administrators and is the landmark historic attraction located in the heart of the capital city Kathmandu. The pressing large square is surrounded by ancient Newari architecture, a few temples, popular shrines, and the old royal palace. Bhaktapur Durbar Squares is a cluster of art, culture, and architecture. Bhaktapur is an ancient city known as Nepal's Cultural Gem, an open museum, a living Heritage, and a City of Devotees renowned for its elegant art, fabulous culture, colorful festivals, traditional dances, and indigenous lifestyle of the Newari community.

On the second, day: you begin the trip exploring Patan Durbar Square. The square is full of temples, statues, palaces, and the historical Patan Museum filled with traditional sacred arts of Nepal in an illustrious architectural setting. Then you explore the local Newari culture at Bungamati village which is known as the hidden treasure and unspoiled and untouched confined Newari village. Yet again you visit medieval Newari town Khokana which is the first town in Nepal to be lit with electricity in 1911 AD, mainly known for the production of rich mustard oil since ancient times.

Day 01: Kathmandu and Bhaktapur Durbar Square Exploration

Our first-day program starts from your hotel after breakfast with a private Guide with private Car. This day, you will visit two world heritage sites namely Kathmandu and Bhaktapur Durbar Squares.

Kathmandu Durbar Square: Visit the historical Kathmandu Durbar Square, which is in the heart of the Capital city of Nepal. Here you explore the old Palace (the seat of power of the Malla and Shah Dynasties until the Narayanhiti Palace was built) with pressing large square surrounded by ancient Newari architecture, numbers of temples, popular shrines and the Living Goddess Kumari at the Kumari Ghar.

Bhaktapur Durbar Squares: visit the compilation of art, culture, and architecture Bhaktapur Durbar Square known as Nepal's Cultural Gem, living Heritage and an open museum. Experience the temples, murals, elegant art and architect of metal and wood, fabulous culture and lifestyle of the indigenous Newari community.

The tour guide picks you up from your hotel as yesterday in the morning and then drive to Bungmati and Khokana, two ancient typical Newari towns. Early 7th-century ancient village Bungamati is famous for master woodcarvers, sculpture producers and traditional locals untouched by modern life and a medieval Newari town Khokana is the first town in Nepal to be lit with electricity in 1911 AD mainly known for the production of rich mustard oil since ancient time. Late afternoon returns to Hotel.
