The Ganjala pass trekking is one of the most adventurous trekking trails in Langtang region. The trail involves crossing one of the highest Ganga La pass located at an altitude of 5106m.

The trek starts from Syabrubesi and passes through Lama Hotel, Kyanjing Gomba, and Lantang Village and drops down to Helambu region via Ganga La pass. The Galnjala pass trek follows the Langtang valley trek until Kyangin Gompa and takes a right turn towards to Ganjala peak. The area falls within Langtang National Park which is home to rare species such as Red Panda, Black Bear and even Snow Leopard. You will come across many Tamang villages on this trek while enjoying a beautiful panoramic view of Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, Dorje Lakpa, Yala Peak, Naya Kanga, Gaurishanker and the Annapurna Himalayan range.

Visiting Kyangjin Monastery at a height of 3049m will present you with breathtaking views of Langtang peaks. During springtime, the forest comes to live with Rhododendrons blooming on all sides. You will also visit a cheese factory set up by the Swiss Association for Technical Assistance in 1955. Explore Langsisha Kharka and Tserku Ri and prepare for the adventure Ganjala pass. Once you cross the pass then you will enter into the Helambu region which is totally different than you had seen in Langtang valley.

Ganjala pass trekking is the most challenging trek in Langtang Helambu trekking. We have to fix the rope to go over a pass the least 3 night you should sleep in the tented accommodation. These three days trek is long day trek to complete the Ganjala and come down to Helambu region.

Day 01 Upon arrival in Kathmandu International Airport, Global Adventure Trekking staff will meet you and coordinates transfer to Hotel.

Day 06 Trek to Kyangjin Gompa (3,870m/12,697ft): 3 hrs. Explore the area.
Day 07 Explore Kyiging Ri/Tsekuri Ri back to Kyanging Gumba.
Day 08 Trek to Ganja La phedi (4300m/14,104 ft): 5-6 hr
Day 09 Cross the Ganja La pass(5122m/16,800 ft) Trek to Keldang (4250m/13,940ft): 6/7 hr
Day 10 Trek to Yak Kharka (4000m/13,120ft): 5/6 hr
Day 11 Trek to Tarke Gyang (2,590m/8,497ft): 5/6 hrs
Day 12 Trek to Sermathang(2,610m/8,563ft): 3/4 hr
Day 13 Trek to Malemchi Pul Bazaar: Drive to Kathmandu: 3/4 hrs trek/ 2 hr drive
Day 14 Final Departure to TIA.
