The Ganjala pass trekking is one of the most adventurous trekking trail in Langtang region. The trail involves crossing one of the highest Ganga La pass located at an altitude of 5106m.
The trek starts from Syabrubesi and passes through Lama Hotel, Kyanjing Gomba and Lantang Village and drops down to Helambu region via Ganga La pass. The area falls within Langtang National Park which is home to rare species such as Red Panda, Black Bear and even Snow Leopard. You will come across many Tamang villages on this trek while enjoying beautiful panoramic view of Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, Dorje Lakpa, Yala Peak, Naya Kanga, Gaurishanker and the Annapurna Himalayan range.
Visitng Kyangjin Monastery at a height of 3049m will present you with breathtaking views of Langtang peaks. During spring time, the forest comes to life with rhododendrons blooming on all sides. You will also visit a cheese factory set up by the Swiss Association for Technical Assistance in 1955.
