Global Adventure Trekking offers the 8 days budget tour by overland to the highest plateau of Tibet. Lhasa is the capital city of Tibet and highly populated by Tibetan tribes and culture. Discover Tibet through our Tibet Budget Tour by visiting the major cultural, religious and natural sites of Tibet. The major highlights of Tibet Budget Tour include exploration of Lhasa, visit the north base camp of Mt. Everest and the turquoise Yamdruk Lake and the drive up to Ronbuk Glacier near the base camp of Mt. Everest.

The trip ends from Lhasa which is directly connected to Kathmandu by trans Himalayan flights. The adventurous flight allows you to witness the world’s highest peaks including Everest 8848m, Kanchenjunga and Cho Oyu from the air. Once in Lhasa, which is Tibet cultural and political center, you will go on a guided tour of Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor street, etc. You will visit all the three biggest monasteries of Tibet: Ganden, Sera and Drepung monasteries.

On the journey through Tibet, you will visit Kichu valley, Tsedang city in Yarlung valley, Kumbum Stupa in Gyantse and Tashi Lumgpo monastery in Shigatse. Among them, Samye Monastery holds more significance because it is the oldest Buddhist monastery in Tibet.

The last leg of the travel brings you to Rongbuk (4980m) for a breathtaking view of the north face of Mt. Everest along with Rongbuk Glacier and Rongbuk monastery.

Unforeseen Circumstances

If Global Adventure Trekking Company cancels your trip to Tibet due to unforeseen circumstances like war, natural disasters, conflict, unfavorable climate, etc., we would be happy to refer you alternative trip of a similar standard. Even if this doesn't fit your personal interest, all monies paid by you to our company will be refunded. But remember, any other expenses incurred by you as a result of this booking are entirely your responsibility.

Papers & Documents

All necessary documents should be presented in sequence for example to issue visa, necessary permits, etc. We're not accountable in case of any trip formality not completed in time before the trip departs on the absent of essential papers and documents. You should have a 6-month valid passport at the time of traveling to Tibet.
