The Mardi Himal trek used to be accessed only by limited trekking groups with tents and catering teams for a long time. The trek follows off the beaten trails of shepherds as it still provides summer grazing. Mardi Himal Base camp trek was officially opened in 2012 and is still a pristine and hidden treasure of Annapurna. There are limited teahouses with basic facilities en route. This is a relatively easy short and unspoiled trek not far from Pokhara Lake City. Less challenging than the trek to nearby Annapurna Base Camp. Yet it is highly diverse with cultural insight, and beautiful forest walks with Rhododendron, Orchid, and alpine landscape. As the trail mostly stays along the ridge, the altitude gain becomes more gradual.

After being at the Mardi Himal Base camp Viewpoint, we come back to Forest camp and follow the trails to Natural Hot Spring, where you can have a Natural bath at the pool. The pool is about half an hour away from the local village on the bank of Modi Khola. The lodge is clean and comfortable with an electricity facility and an auspicious dining hall. The place offers an amazing view of Mardi and in the front, the biggest Ghandruk village is smiling at you.

After having your pleasant overnight at Jhinu Danda, we descend to Kimring Khola and keep continue to Syauli Bazar. After the Syauli Bazar, the path is flat and easy to Birethanti where we will stop for Lunch. Walk about half an hour from Birethanti to Nayapul and take a bus to Pokhara. The most beautiful wilderness trek in the Annapurna region. This trek is accomplished within 5 days from Pokhara. Happy Holidays!
