Annapurna Base Camp Trek Itinerary
Day 01: Kathmandu (1,350 m) Arrivals and transfer to Hotel
Upon arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, one of our staff will meet you at the airport and coordinate transfer to your hotel. 1350m/4290ft.
Day 02: Kathmandu drive To Pokhara (850 m), 200km, 6-7 hrs
The tourist bus leaves early in the morning from Kathmandu. It is comfortable and clean. The bus has Wi-Fi available. Tourist bus goes through Prithivi highway in a scenic valley along the Trisuli River. You will spend the night at a hotel in Pokhara and breakfast is included in the package price. (Optional 30 minute flight available for additional cost).
Day 03: Pokhara drive to Tikhedhunga (55 km, 2hrs) and trek to Ulleri /Banthanti (2050 m), 9 km, 4hrs.
In the morning, the trek begins after a short drive by private car to Nayapul. Trails goes through the deciduous forest and overlook waterfalls, local villages and rice fields.
Day 04: Banthanti trek to Ghorepani (2,860 m), 8 km, 5 hrs.
The trails ascend step by step up to Ulleri where the trails lead you to a gradual uphill ascent to Ghorepani through a rhododendron and oak forest.
Day 05: Ghorepani hike to Poon-Hill (3,200 m) and trek to Tadapani (2,600 m), 12 km, 6-7 hrs.
We hike to Poon-Hill view-top for sunrise with stunning Mountain Panorama view. After breakfast, our trek ascends to Deurali with great views of the Himalayas. Then again walk through dense Rhodendern forest, villages, farming land and waterfalls following several up and down till Tadapani.
Day 06: Tadapani trek to Chhumrong (2,150 m), 10 km, 5 hrs.
Your trek descends to Chhule with great views of the Himalayas, settlement villages, farming land and waterfalls. After Chhule the path gradually descends to Chhumrung through the Gurung village.
Day 07: Chhumrong trek to Himalaya (2,900 m), 12 km, 7hrs.
The path goes downhill to the Chhumrung River and ascends to Sinuwa. The road then becomes flat until reaching Khuldi Ghar and descends to Bamboo. Bamboo is located between massive boulders and forest. The sound of monkeys swinging in the trees may interrupt the silence of the trail. After lunch your trek goes through the bamboo forest and the sounds of rivers and waterfalls will welcome you to Himalaya.
Day 08: Himalaya trek to Annapurna Base Camp "ABC" (4,130 m) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp "MBC" (3,700 m), 9 km, 6 hrs.
Today’s hike is shorter than other days, but the rise in altitude may make you feel otherwise. You will be trekking above 3000m. and may face conditions of snow and ice, depending on the season. Experience the amphitheater surrounded by Annapurna ranges from Annapurna Base Camp (ABC).
Day 09: Annapurna Base Camp Trek back to Bamboo (2,300 m), 14 km, 6hrs.
Enjoy your morning, taking in the amazing sunrise views over the Annapurna ranges and Fishtail. The trail descends to Bamboo and along the way you might encounter Himalayan Thar, mountain goats and deer.
Day 10: Bamboo trek to Natural Hot Spring (1,750 m), 10 km, 6hrs.
On the way, you will pass through one of the biggest Gurung tribe inhabited villages. Along the trek you will see many different types of birds and butterflies in the rhododendron forest. After Chhumrung you will descend to Hot Spring (Jhinu Danda) where can bathe in a natural hot spring on the banks of the river.
Day 11: Hot Spring trek to Nayapul ( 17 km, 7 hrs.) then drive back to Pokhara
The path descends to Kimrung River, gradually passing through Ghandruck Phedi, ending with an easy and flat walk to Birethanti. You will stop for lunch and walk 45 minutes to Nayapul. We will coordinate your drive back to Pokhara by private vehicle.
Day 12: Pokhara to Kathmandu
Return to Kathmandu on a luxury tourist bus (optional 30-minutes flight for an additional cost). Deparute-7:30 am and arrive back to Kathmandu about 3 pm. Transfer to hotel and evening fare well.
Day 13: Departure to Airport for your onward flight.
After having the healthy breakfast, You will transfer to Kathmandu Airport for your onward flight.
